The company has 2,200 employees, delivers solutions at over 15,000 customer sites, and has an annual turnover of £300 million. It provided the energy centre to London's Olympic Park and in October 2012 won the contract to supply technical services to the Shard in London.
Having decided that it needed a new outsourcing partner, Cofely entrusted its SAP business systems to One-IT, who internally provided project management services and partnered with Orange Business Services, who provided hosting, and oXya UK who provided technical support for the SAP transition and on- going Basis administration.
Working closely with its partners, oXya helped provide a smooth transition, with all of the data on Cofely's live systems being transferred to new hardware over a single weekend.
Since "Go Live" in May, oXya has continued to administer Cofely's systems, which comprise 18 SAP instances covering 3 environments (Development, Quality and Production). oXya provides 24/7 monitoring of the Cofely servers and technical support is also available at any time of the day or night through a single point of contact.
In less than three months, oXya has implemented a series of key service improvements, including a kernel upgrade and early watch alerts for ABAP and JAVA.
Further significant upgrade projects have been agreed to ensure that Cofely's ERP systems are always ready to meet its business needs.« Back to articles
